Hardworking, professional and friendly movers - Victoria to Calgary
Dowell’s moved my family from Victoria BC to Calgary AB. Adam was great, gave us wardrobe boxes and was a great communicator. They unloaded our 5 bedroom home on a Tuesday and delivered our items on a Monday. They were professional and friendly. Mike the driver was great, he was kind and worked incredibly hard. I would Highly recommend this moving company.

Fantastic moving experience - Esquimalt to Brentwood Bay
I will only use Dowells moving and storage. They were on time, moved everything really smoothly. There prices are very reasonable. The two guys were polite and finished the job quickly. No messing around. 👌

Fabulous move - moving locally in Victoria
Good morning to all... Now that I have a moment to take a deep breath, I want to express my appreciation for the splendid job Dowell's did on June 18.
As you know, relocation is a stressful time, particularly so for seniors such as myself who tend to allow the imagination to run at full gallop and anticipate what can go wrong rather than what will go right. In my case, all went right, thanks to your three-person team of Kord, Chris and Cody.
The lads were earlier than expected (a positive development), they were pleasant, engaging and professional, and seemed to genuinely appreciate my efforts to organize my belongings with movers in mind. On top of all that, they took less than three hours to perform the task, so the bottom line on the bill was less than the estimate.
All considered, a fabulous effort by your lads. Truly admirable. My friend Lucy and I couldn't have been more pleased.
So I thank you and assure you that I shall recommend Dowell's to any and all who inquire about moving/storage companies.

Outstanding service - friendly, professional and caring movers
Couldn’t have had a better moving team. Our driver Mike was great, well organized very friendly and patient. His crew during both loading and delivering were great as well. Always ready to do what we requested while being friendly and professional. They stored our belongings for a month and nothing was damaged so you know they took care of our belongings. You get what you pay for and this team delivered!!

I had a fantastic experience with Dowell's. Adam was very responsive with all my questions. He also took the time to come to the house to double-check my quote and was very helpful in helping us prepare for moving day. Perfect move - Moving locally in Victoria
Every piece of furniture was wrapped up – taken away to the storage. I had the option to change the delivery date of when it would be delivered.Which was a real plus. When the furniture was delivered to my condominium the team worked incredibly hard; they put everything where it needed to go and were polite and extremely experienced. I would definitely recommend Dowels moving and storage to anyone.

Truly Professional Moving Company - Victoria to Calgary
My wife and I want to thank Gary & Bob for a great moving experience. We moved from Victoria to Calgary and had great movers on both ends of the trip. Gary was super helpful with providing us with moving boxes and estimated our weight within 2 kg. Bob was a great help on both ends of our move. He's an incredible driver and clearly knows what he's doing. He's a true moving pro. Even though the weather was horrible on the highways and in Calgary (-23) all of our stuff arrived in perfect condition. Our fridge and TVs needed a day to thaw out but they were fine once they warmed up. I highly recommend these guys if you're moving. They're worth it!

Best moving experience
My wife and are were very satisfied at the high-quality service of Dowell's Moving and Storage Company. The excellent team, Randall, Jacob and others took great care of our possessions during storage and moving. When we had a problem moving our bookcases into our condo because they didn't fit in the elevator and stairwell, they found a solution. It is one of the best storage and moving experiences that we've had. I would highly recommend Dowell's Moving and Storage.

The excellent team, Randall, Jacob and others took great care of our possessions during storage and moving. Amazing Job - Moving from Saanich To Campbell River
Big thanks and huge appreciation to the team at Dowell’s, we finally moved from Victoria to Campbell River after living in our home there for 28 years. Special mention to Jacob and David for the uplifting energy and enthusiastic hard work they gave to our move! We were very surprised and amazed at how they came in and made our move all happen so smoothly during a very overwhelming time. The respect, professionalism, humour and help was welcomed relief! Very Impressed with the service - Moving from Germany to Victoria
Dowell's Moving and Storage efficiently handled the clearance through customs of our furniture and effects from Germany. They then promptly delivered the items to our house the next day and they went out of their way to make sure that all of our goods and boxes were positioned within the house in accordance with our wishes. The entire move was professionally done. We would recommend the company without reservation for anyone's moving needs. We were very impressed!

Careful & very professional movers - moving Sidney to Victoria, BC
We have moved a lot and this was the first group of movers who went above and beyond. They were careful with our belongings, wrapping them well. They carried things efficiently but with caution. They were polite and professional. We will use Dowell's again.

Absolutely Top Notch - Moving from Victoria to Invermere, BC
If we could rate them 5 star plus we would. They moved us from Victoria to Invermere and everything about their service was top notch. Adam was easy going and worked with us to finalize the estimate. Very professional and a pleasure to deal with. Gary was on top of the logistics and tried his best to meet our timelines despite labour shortage, wildfires and holidays! The packing by Randall was exceptional and all our items meticulously packed and protected from breakage including art pieces.
The movers were efficient and carefully took apart the furniture ensuring all parts were put in the setup box. At the receiving end Mike was superb. Everything was carefully placed and cleaned up. Mike even went above and beyond when we discovered some missing art glass that was mistakenly put into a waste paper bag. He searched through it all after going back to Vancouver and Dowell’s couriered it to us which meant a lot since it was a special commissioned piece.
So all in all, the price was very reasonable and the service outstanding. Thanks to everyone at Dowell’s for making the move an easy one on us!

Highly Recommended - Moving in Victoria, BC
The company came through for our move(s) when others couldn't. There crew was professional, on time and very efficient in moving our furniture out of our downtown condo and about 10 days later, delivering some to another apartment. I highly recommend them.

Careful & Polite Moving Team - Victoria to Kelowna & Storage
Mine was a complicated move with some items going to Kelowna and some going in Dowell’s storage for an upcoming move (in a shipping container) to Costa Rica. Everything was expertly packed and it felt comfortable for the movers to be in my home.

Polite, Helpful and Focused Movers - Victoria to Storage & Return
Prompt, friendly service. The packers/movers were polite, helpful and focused. When they returned my things they were most helpful. I did my own unpacking. A bit slow picking up the empty cartons! I used this revive to pack, store and return the contents of my craft/quilt room. Everything was packed securely. I would use this firm for local moves in the future.
