Absolutely Top Notch - Moving from Victoria to Invermere, BC
If we could rate them 5 star plus we would. They moved us from Victoria to Invermere and everything about their service was top notch. Adam was easy going and worked with us to finalize the estimate. Very professional and a pleasure to deal with. Gary was on top of the logistics and tried his best to meet our timelines despite labour shortage, wildfires and holidays! The packing by Randall was exceptional and all our items meticulously packed and protected from breakage including art pieces.
The movers were efficient and carefully took apart the furniture ensuring all parts were put in the setup box. At the receiving end Mike was superb. Everything was carefully placed and cleaned up. Mike even went above and beyond when we discovered some missing art glass that was mistakenly put into a waste paper bag. He searched through it all after going back to Vancouver and Dowell’s couriered it to us which meant a lot since it was a special commissioned piece.
So all in all, the price was very reasonable and the service outstanding. Thanks to everyone at Dowell’s for making the move an easy one on us!

Highly Recommended - Moving in Victoria, BC
The company came through for our move(s) when others couldn't. There crew was professional, on time and very efficient in moving our furniture out of our downtown condo and about 10 days later, delivering some to another apartment. I highly recommend them.

Careful & Polite Moving Team - Victoria to Kelowna & Storage

Polite, Helpful and Focused Movers - Victoria to Storage & Return
Prompt, friendly service. The packers/movers were polite, helpful and focused. When they returned my things they were most helpful. I did my own unpacking. A bit slow picking up the empty cartons! I used this revive to pack, store and return the contents of my craft/quilt room. Everything was packed securely. I would use this firm for local moves in the future.

Awesome service - Moving in Victoria, BC

Very efficient, cheerful & professional moving crew - Moving in Saanich, BC
The team of 4 movers were very efficient, patient, cheerful and very professional. They moved our 9000 pounds of furniture and boxes out of our old place and into our new home in 6 hours. That included taking apart 2 desks and putting them back together plus a whole lot of stairs. This our second move with Dowell’s Moving and we would highly recommend them.

Careful moving crew and great service
Dowell's Moving & Storage were very pleasant and accommodating. I had them pick up a bedroom suite in Duncan and then come to my house in Victoria to pick up a large sectional couch to also put in storage in their facility while my house was renovated. While in my house I had them move a piano as well as a heavy armoire. They were very careful of my furniture and my recently refinished wood floors, which I greatly appreciated. When it was time to have my furniture taken out of storage, they did so in a very timely fashion. I would certainly use their services again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend my friends and family to either!

Estimate for work done and time allocated was spot on, I was always able to speak with someone, care was taken with fragile items, especially my grandmother's clock. We'll see how it all works out when items come out of storage!

Responsive service and fast, efficient movers

Professional, speedy and hardworking movers
My mother was a dedicated client of Dowell's for over a decade. She hoarded antiques purchased at auction--six large crates--all kept warm and dry at Dowell's for years upon years. Finally today, I had all the antiques moved into my basement (she passed away last month). Randall, Grant and Matt worked for hours through heavy rain--they were professional, speedy and polite which helped make the transition to living among all these dozens upon dozens antiques that much easier.
